Impronte di gentilezza
Some might say that a wine’s character reflects the soul of those who made it. Our own contains the essence of an incredibly special woman, one who walked through life sowing seeds of goodness: Irma, our grandmother.
Now that she is no more, our greatest wish is that her goodness and kindness may live on in us, growing, flourishing, like the most delicate and precious of vines. Among the vines is exactly were Irma grew up, breathing the very essence of viticulture ever since she was a little girl, and dedicating all her life to this wonderful craft together with her family. She knew every shoot, every leaf, every grape like the back of her own hand.
But most of all, Irma knew kindness. And it was not just consideration or good manners, that type of kindness that stops at the surface – no: Irma’s kindness was a profound one, one whose roots ran deep, stemming from her very heart. It was in all that she did, every day: in the care that she had for her vines, in the patience with which she listened to all those who needed someone who would listen to them, in the smile she would always give to whomever knocked on her door. Being her granddaughters, we were very lucky to grow up surrounded by her love and her wisdom.
